Basic Dress pattern blocks drafted to fit the Alvanon brand AlvaForm dress form in US SIZE 8 - a widely popular choice among fashion design institutional programs and professionals, known for its accurate fit created using real life body data. This set of blocks is being offered in a US Size 8 only, due to its practicality and quick-use for US fashion school programs. (Great to use for Pattern Grading classes!)

These are pattern blocks / slopers meant to be used as templates by experienced pattern makers. They are NOT completed sewing patterns, and therefore DO NOT HAVE SEAM ALLOWANCES. Blocks include standard wearing ease, and are made for woven fabrics with 0% stretch. See included measurement charts for exact measurements of finished garment with ease, and corresponding body/dress form size measurements.

Set of blocks includes basic 1-Dart Front Bodice, 2-Dart Back Bodice, 2-Dart Front Skirt, 2-Dart Back Skirt, and Sleeve with Elbow Dart.
