This pattern set contains two versions of the classic mid-shoulder Princess Line Bodice: a set of PATTERN BLOCKS/SLOPERS that do NOT contain seam allowances, (for use by pattern makers in drafting customized designs), and a COMPLETED SEWING PATTERN that does contain seam allowances, (for sewers wanting a quick ready-to-sew garment that can be lightly modified, including the addition of skirts/peplums, sleeves, collars, etc). The completed sewing pattern also includes BONUS Facing patterns, for clean-finishing the neckline and armhole portions of the bodice.

Pattern Blocks and Sewing Pattern have a moderately contoured fit, include standard minimum wearing ease, and are made for woven fabrics with 0-10% stretch. See included measurement charts for exact measurements of finished garment with ease, and corresponding body/dress form size measurements. Please note that dress form size numbers do not typically correspond with standard ready-to-wear sizing when purchasing clothing. You will want to refer to the included measurement chart to ensure proper size selection.

When using either the pattern blocks or sewing pattern, the main bodice is comprised of four pieces: Center Front, Side Front, Center Back, and Side Back. The Center Front and Center Back pattern pieces are universally shaped for either sleeveless or sleeved designs. The Side Front and Side Back pattern pieces come in two different fit variations, made for either sleeveless or sleeved designs, (SLEEVE PATTERN IS NOT INCLUDED - the corresponding sleeve for this set is available in the complete Wolf Form Pattern Block Set). You will need to use the correct Side Front and Side Back pieces based on whether your completed garment will be sleeveless or sleeved. The included BONUS Front Facing and Back Facing are to be used for sleeveless bodices only.
